Ahh, kids. Always getting into trouble. Check out some of the recent exploits of our own resident young'uns.

AN EXCITING DAY! Chowee, Bryna and Rascal had their first car ride together!! (per the House Rabbit Society book on how to bond bunnies)
They did wonderfully! They all snuggled together in the back of the car, no cages or carriers or anything! This was a great step in getting them all to bond.
We did, however, make the mistake of not following directions, and let them all frolic in neutral territory when we got home. Disappointingly, Chowee got a little agressive, nipping at Bryna, so we promptly separated them and sent them to bed. Looks like our bunnies aren't exceptions to the "two weeks of car rides" rule.

All quiet on the homefront. Babies are getting so big! I'd say they are three times the size they were when we got them.
The Christmas raisins and Veggie Drops were consumed energetically, with some to spare. Bryna has discovered the non-bunny gift we received, an aromatherapy candle, which isn't very aromatherapeutic but seems to be quite tasty, evidently. She's also taken to sniffing around coffee mugs to see if there's anything more interesting than coffee in them. She's usually out of luck on that one in this coffee-fanatical household. Rascal has all but stopped with the body-flinging... the sheet covering the open-top cage seems to be working nicely (only after purchasing mass amounts of binder clips to make sure every inch is secured!).
Chowee is nipping less, but still nipping, mind you. Someday soon, all three puffballs shall meet... without the restraining cage bars between them! What an adventure that will be!

Oh my! No diary entries for such a long time, due to all the paper wrapping, cookie baking, and other bunny delights!
Rascal and Bryna (especially Bryna) are hopelessly in puppylove with their older, grumpy mentor Chowee. Bite and growl as he may, the baby girls just sit, starry-eyed, and allow the fluffs of fur to be pulled from their fuzzy butts. I think Bryna is mistaking Chowee's quite forceful "Get your nose outta my face, you little rugrat" for a love nip. As Chowee parades past their cage, she follows, from one end to the other, fawning over her Romeo, hoping for the one day they can be together. On a good day, Chowee tolerates her and allows her to be within 2 feet of him without loss of fur or flesh.
Someday, little dreamer! AFTER you're fixed!!!

Bryna continues to *hump* her sister frequently. Hmmmm.... rabbit.org? Any answers to *that* one?!? "Both sexes may mount each other... and is only for the sake of asserting dominance." (from this page)
Bryna, you've made your point.
Bryna has recovered from her frightening head-stuck ordeal... she no longer shies from the cage bars, and eagerly shoves her little fuzzface through the bars to be pet whenever someone walks by.

Bryna freaks out in her and Rascal's cage, resulting in her fuzzy little head getting stuck between the cage bars! She was quite humbled for the remainder of the evening.
Grow little bunnies, grow! They are approximately twice as large as they were when adopted (about Nov. 15th).
